Meet Jan Graham
Jan is a dynamic real estate agent dedicated to service and her clients best interest, making her the agent buyers and sellers want to work with.
With over 25 years of experience in the real estate profession, not only has Jan acquired a broad scope of knowledge and skill, she is respected throughout the industry and is known to be exceptional to work with. She is an instructor with the Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA) and has provided training at the Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB) as well as in-house training to fellow associates at RE/MAX First. She has volunteered her knowledge and experience by serving on various advisory and steering committees at CREB, all aimed at improving the real estate industry in Calgary and beyond. Her areas of specialty include single family homes, condominiums, new home marketing, income property investment, and re-locations to and from Calgary.
Jan feels the key to her success has been in keeping her clients fully informed during the selling process, providing honest and truthful answers, and a good old-fashioned hands-on work ethic. It is very important to her that she is confident that her clients are making sound, informed decisions based on research and factual information. Her goal is to deliver exceptional client service, before, during and after closing and she endeavors to make every client experience enjoyable and stress free.
Jan is a very dedicated, full-time real estate professional. She has a big heart though, and still finds time to organise fund raisers for homelessness organisations and is always willing to volunteer for office activities. Outside of her busy career, Jan is the mother of three successful daughters, Grandmother to a beautiful and fun loving 2 year old girl, and has two adoring Yorkies, Molly and Mya. She loves to nurture her phenomenal garden and, when spare time allows, enjoys furniture restoration.

Meet Patrick Krause
Patrick is a charismatic real estate agent who always delivers service with a smile and probably a good laugh too. Everyone enjoys working with Patrick, but don’t let his fun loving demeanour fool you: he is dedicated, knowledgeable and determined to help his clients achieve their real estate goals.
Patrick has over 30 years of sales experience, 20 of which have been devoted full time to real estate. He is well known within the industry and has gained a well-respected reputation as a knowledgeable realtor who is great to work with, negotiating with skill to get the deal done. He has acquired a wide range of experience in both residential re-sale and working with property developers on large scale new home sales projects. He also has an extensive understanding of corporate staff transfers, both to and from Calgary, and is a preferred realtor with several relocation agencies. He is also often called upon to provide training to fellow realtors within his brokerage. So whether buying or selling a home, new or previously loved, Patrick has the knowledge and wisdom to make the process a positive and exciting experience.
Next to his honesty and integrity, Patrick feels his success comes from being a caring and considerate advisor who is adept at identifying client needs and wants. His goal is to provide excellence in client service so that every client not only achieves their goal, but also enjoys the experience every step of the way.
Patrick is and always has been a dedicated full-time realtor since the day he undertook his licensing. His career and home life are often one in the same as his wife Shelagh is very much involved in the team’s day to day business.Together they have two daughters, one in high school, and the other junior high. Though he is outnumbered by the ladies at home (and at work), he is not the only male in the household. The family adopted two cats (Blake and Freya), a brother and sister pair that were rescued as kittens. In his spare time you’ll likely find Patrick on the golf course, having slowly narrowed his sporting activities down to this one passion over the years.

Meet Shelagh Krause
Until recently Shelagh was a realtor working in partnership with Patrick and Jan. Though she is no longer actively licensed to sell real estate, she is still an involved member of the team focussing mainly on Marketing and client service. Her 9 years as a realtor has given her a thorough knowledge of the industry and she now uses that knowledge to help Patrick and Jan with real estate collaboration behind the scenes.
Prior to getting her real estate license accreditation, Shelagh had a long and varied career in the Federal Public Service that included working at the Ministerial level right down to field service. Her specialties included contracts, logistics, communications, information analysis, and project management – skills that are essential for buying or selling a home.
Shelagh’s real estate experience started in 2001 when she got into new condo sales on a part-time basis. This lead to collaborating with Patrick on several condominium projects, from planning through to launch. After many years of apprenticeship while providing part-time real estate administration, she completed her Realtor accreditation in 2008. Further complimenting Shelagh’s real estate expertise is her skills in home staging as well as her experience with home renovations and landscaping.
After 9 years of helping clients buy and sell homes, Shelagh decided her talents, energy and focus would be best used behind the scenes, focussing on marketing tasks while Jan and Patrick could focus on sales activities. This means Shelagh is often the one to help clients with preparing their homes prior to listing and liaising with outside sources for professional services.
Shelagh’s career and home life often become indistinguishable by being married to Patrick. But, while he is out with clients, she is usually busy being Director of Household Operations, which includes being “Dance Mom” for the two competitive dancers in their household. Shelagh’s talents include juggling work life, Mom life, and volunteer life – not always in that order!
Meet Lynn Cowan (Administrator)
Lynn has over 16 years of experience in administration. From managing client databases and coordinating correspondence, to monitoring rules compliance issues, to organizing and maintaining agenda timelines – if it involves keeping paperwork and people on time and in order, she’s done it! Previous to joining our team Lynn worked in the financial industry, the Oil and Gas industry and a land- based real estate investment firm. The skills she gained in these positions made her a natural fit for residential real estate administration.
Lynn has worked closely with high ranking executives in the past but is now enjoying the intimate setting of working within a small team. The pace can be equally as challenging as working in a large company setting, but the environment is more satisfying to her. Always ready to lend a hand and a smile, Lynn can be counted on to keep our systems running smoothly.
